A native of Jasper and long-time resident, David grew up in Jasper, graduated in 1996 from Colmesneil High School and moved to the Houston area in 2006. Private services will be held at a later date. Native of Mexico, former resident of Chicago, resided in Kirbyville for 7 years , has been a Jasper resident since 1983. He was a member of the Tri-Community Fire Department. John Wilson, 63, of Kirbyville passed away on December 25, 2020 in Jasper. She is survived by her son, Johnnie H. Holmes of Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Justin Holmes and Elizabeth Holmes both of Fort Worth, Texas; sister, Janey Moorhead and husband, Kenneth of Jasper, Texas; brother-in-law, Ronnie Fisher and wife, Carla of McKinney, Texas; and numerous other loving family and friends. Condolences can be posted at, Bobby Joe was born on December 23, 1940 in Newton, Texas to George Russell & Geraldine Adams Woods. She enjoyed being in Houston during the week and Jasper on the weekends. The family will have a private Celebration of Life service at a later date. She was raised in the old Wilson family house by her parents, great aunts Minnie Wilson, Missouri Wilson and great uncle Leon Wilson. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Jasper. A loving housewife, she married Durwood Warner on January 2, 1965 and raised three children and six grandchildren. Survivors include a daughter Melissa Bartlett of Bon Wier, TX; as well as 3 grandchildren Lexi, Matthew and Arlin. We were welcomed into the Goree family circle and what a blessing that was. She is survived by her son Raymond Edward Spencer & wife Sharyon of Las Vegas, Nevada and Dennis Leroy Spencer & wife Linda of Pagosa Springs, Colorado; daughter Janeen & John Rose Spencer of Woodville; a sister Doreen Ford Mendenhall of Beaufort, South Carolina; grandchildren Dawn, Adam, Pamela, Christopher, Christina, Danielle, Brenda, Micki, and Katie Jo; as well as 20 great grandchildren. A loving housewife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she was a life-long resident of Jasper. They spent many happy years working side by side in the apartment industry in Texas and Louisiana before retiring to Jasper, Tx about 15 yrs ago where they enjoyed fishing, spending time with family  and church family, loving on their little puppy dogs, and attending/serving at their final church home together, Tanglewood Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 21 years Melody Luttrell of Jasper, TX; a daughter Sally Denise Luttrell of Crofton, MD; step daughters Jamie Ryder Morain of Jasper, TX and Becky Matthews & husband Glenn of Center, TX; brothers Bill Luttrell of Salem, IL and DeWitt Luttrell of North Pole, AK; sisters Mirrium Graetz of Fairbanks, AK and Deanna Phelps of Salem, IL; grandchildren Sarah Hinds of Crofton, MD, Richard W. Luttrell III of Port Arthur, TX, Luke Matthews of Center, TX, Daniel Matthews of Center, TX, Rex Hall Jr. of Silsbee, TX and Mary Whitt of Lumberton, TX; as well as numerous great grandchildren. She grew up in Beaumont and was a member of the French High School Buffalo Belles Drill Team, where she served as lieutenant.
